Kermit Murdock

Kermit Murdock was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Murdock marked his early career with roles in "Star Trek" (1966-69), the dramatic adaptation "In the Heat of the Night" (1967) with Sidney Poitier and "The Whole World Is Watching" (NBC, 1968-69). Later, Murdock acted in "Dial Hot Line" (1969-1970), "The Lonely Profession" (NBC, 1969-1970) and the musical "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever" (1970) with Barbra Streisand. He also appeared in "The Andromeda Strain" (1971), "The Priest Killer" (NBC, 1971-72) and "The Godchild" (ABC, 1974-75). Later in his career, Murdock appeared in "Captains and the Kings" (1976-77). Murdock passed away in February 1981 at the age of 73.
