In “The Purple Piano Project (Glee),” its fall and that means back to school for the students and faculty at McKinley High. The New Directions clan returns after a devastating loss at Nationals, so Mr. Schuester assigns a project to get them back on track. Meanwhile, Sue Sylvester starts her congressional campaign with an anti-arts platform. Musical performances include “Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead”, “We Got The Beat”, “Anything Goes/Anything You Can Do”, “It’s Not Unusual” and “You Can’t Stop The Beat”. In the pilot episode of New Girl, Zooey Deschanel stars as Jess Day, a young woman who, after discovering her long-term boyfriend is cheating on her, moves into a loft apartment with three male roommates – prickly bartender Nick, womanizer Schmidt and intense personal trainer Coach. In the opener, the guys try to help Jess get back on her feet and into the dating world.
