Philip Tan

Philip Tan worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Philip Tan began his acting career with roles in such films as "The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu" (1980) featuring Peter Sellers, the comedy adaptation "Privates on Parade" (1983) with John Cleese and "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes" (1984) with Ralph Richardson. He also appeared in the Harrison Ford action flick "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" (1984), the adaptation "Return to Oz" (1985) with Nicol Williamson and the action picture "Taking Manhattan" (1991) with Alana Adena. In the nineties, Philip Tan devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Shadow" with Alec Baldwin (1994), "Congo" (1995) and "Bloodsport II: The Next Kumite" with Daniel Bernhardt (1996). He also worked on the Brendan Fraser and Leslie Mann smash hit "George of the Jungle" (1997). In the early 2000s, Philip Tan lent his talents to projects like "Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever" (2002), "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist" with Steve Oedekerk (2002) and the Tom Cruise and Samantha Morton blockbuster "Minority Report" (2002). His credits also expanded to "Windtalkers" (2002) starring Nicolas Cage and "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life" (2003) starring Angelina Jolie. Most recently, Philip Tan worked on the dance "Breaking Through" (2015) with Bruna Marquezine. Philip Tan was nominated for an Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture Screen Actors Guild Award for "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" in 2008.
