Tenzing Norgay Trainor

Tenzing Norgay Trainor

Despite being relatively new to acting, child actor Tenzing Norgay Trainor made a big splash in Hollywood in a very short period of time. Trainor's career began at the age of eight, when he began appearing in children's theater productions throughout Florida. By the early 2010s he started lending his voice to various movies and TV shows, including VH1's "Stevie TV" (2012-) and the straight to DVD movie, "Super Buddies" (2013), in which he voiced the role of a friendly dog named Buddha. Trainor's breakout role came in 2013 when he landed the part of Parker Rooney on the Disney Channel's "Liv and Maddie" (2013-17). He may not have been old enough to drive a car, but by 2013 Trainor had proved that he was well on his way to a long and prosperous acting career. Trainor was named after his famous grandfather Tenzing Norgay, who was one of the first men to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. While growing up in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Trainor became interested in acting at a very young age. Before his tenth birthday he had already appeared in numerous community stage productions. By 2012 he started adding voiceover work to his growing list of credits, as well as guest spots on shows like the Disney Channel's "Good Luck Charlie" (2010-14). Then in 2013 Trainor landed his first recurring part on a series as Parker, the youngest member of the Rooney family, on the Disney Channel's hit tween sitcom "Liv and Maddie" (2013-17).
