Paul Hollywood learned to bake from working at his father's business, eventually landing roles as head baker at some fine hotels. Now, he is traveling around the globe to find family bakeries, corner delis and other establishments that have created baking heritages in various cities. Inspired by his time in the cities, he produces recipes in the places where they originated. He also goes "back to the floor" in hotel kitchens to rediscover family recipes and meet new bakers from around the world.
