S2, E7: Andreas Marthaler helps Ronald and Florian prepare for a planned record attempt. A particularly tricky via ferrata has caught their fancy. The reigning record holders are Andreas and his late friend Stefan. Emilie Hofer is happy. Almost at the last minute, she managed to avert the forced auction of her farm. Emilie has no idea what secret lies behind the surprising turn-up of the money that her late husband had borrowed from the bank shortly before his death. But the strain of the past few weeks takes its toll, and, after a breakdown, Emilie has to go to hospital. Hotelier Peter Herbrechter, meanwhile, has to tell cable car investor Berger that he did not succeed in buying Emilie's farm. The two businessmen see their hopes dashed for good, and Berger decides to pay Emilie a visit in the hospital. He offers her an almost indecently high amount for the farm. She, however, refuses. For no money in the world is Emilie willing to give up her home and that of her children. The cable car project threatens to fail once and for all, dragging Peter Herbrechter into bankruptcy. When his son Tobias learns of the extent of the disaster, he has a guilty conscience. Perhaps he should not have acted so hastily in his anger at his father. Now Tobias' financial future is in jeopardy, too.
