Separate Ways

S11, E8: Martin Gruber is surprised by the unusual symptoms shown by nurse Erianna Kolas. He soon finds out that Erianna seems to be deliberately taking a drug that is not intended for her - knowing full well that it makes her sick. She tries to buy time with the resulting sick leave: She and her 14-year-old daughter Mara are due to leave Austria within two weeks. They came from Belarus many years ago - obviously with forged papers, which is why the immigration authorities are now deporting them. Martin Gruber tries to win time for Erianna by talking to the responsible official. The desperate woman promises to stop playing around with the medication and to find another solution - at least for her daughter.
