Im Wald – Teil 1

S4, E1: A camper van burns to the ground in a wooded area. In the wreckage: the remains of a human body. There is one single witness. Journalist Felicitas Molin, who claims to have seen a shadowy figure fleeing. Before long, Oliver von Bodenstein and Pia Sander of the K11 in Hofheim are investigating not just arson resulting in death, but murder. When shortly thereafter the victim's terminally ill mother is also murdered, Bodenstein is shaken. He had known both mother and son since his childhood – after all, he grew up in the village. The investigation takes Pia and him 35 years back in time.
