Making Dead Things Look Nice

S4, E7: Eve begins to question who she is and what she's done. Memories of the past resurface as she wonders if this life of violence and killing is right for her, and whether she can ever return to any form of 'ordinary'. Realising she needs help, Eve meets with Martin who tells her that in order to find meaning she has to be with the people she loves. Eve learns that Villanelle is on Gunn's Scottish island and travels there. Villanelle has met her match in Gunn and re-embraces her psychopathy as her relationship with Gunn progresses. Villanelle is certain that Gunn will be the perfect ally in bringing down her oppressors but her bubble is soon burst when she learns that Gunn's loyalty remains with The Twelve. Now that Gunn knows Villanelle wants to bring them down, Gunn cannot let her leave the island. So Villanelle is forced to lure Gunn into a mortal battle. Carolyn, abandoning the dead-end Lars had presented, uses intel that she managed to glean off him to get inside The Twelve through a different method. She believes she has found a regular meeting spot for the top tier of The Twelve but her stake-out is scuppered when allies of the past arrive to reprimand her. Carolyn manages to talk her way out of a difficult situation and realises the true meeting place she is after may be closer to home, but if she is to return to home turf, she must return as a traitor.
