S13, E4: Eighteen-year-old Valerie Lehwald shows up distressed at her tutor’s home and speaks vaguely of a betrayal by her boyfriend. Before she can explain further, she is seen getting into a black SUV and then vanishes. Her father Daniel and friend Lina Wilke are left searching for answers. Valerie’s boyfriend Bilal admits to a mistake but insists he is concerned for her safety. As clues surface, those close to Valerie must confront what they didn’t know about her and her choices.
