Mother's Bliss

S11, E5: On her way to a lonely mountain hut, pregnant Nele Glöckner suddenly goes into labor. In a stable in the mountains, she gives birth to a child all on her own. While trying to get help, she falls and injures herself badly. Her baby is left alone. When the mountain rescuers find an injured, unconscious Nele, they have no idea that a baby is still up there. But then it becomes evident that Nele has only recently given birth. The rescuers set off in search of the child. A large-scale search, during which they encounter the heavily pregnant Sonja Kirchgassner in a hut, also remains unsuccessful. It gradually emerges that the two women know each other better than Sonja has admitted. What do she and her husband, Christian, have to hide? During the rescue mission, it is the new member of the team, Simon Plattner, who puts Markus in great danger through a moment of carelessness. This gives the others further reason to doubt whether he is the right man for their team. They have no idea that mayor and hotelier, Peter Herbrechter, has somewhat different plans for him.
