Stockl Investigates
S1, E8: 17-year-old Lilly Billinger has been missing for several days. Even if not all of Rosenheim finds this alarming, Miriam Stockl, Ulrich and Korbinian's secretary, does. Her agitation increases when one morning she finds the handbag of a young woman at the Inn. However, the bag does not belong to the missing woman, but to a certain Kathrin Stein. When the police officers are less willing to intervene than she had expected, Miriam Stockl takes matters into her own hands. She secretly goes to the Bertramsdorf estate, where Kathrin Stein works, and pretends to be a detective. Unfortunately, just as she is about to start her investigation, her bosses Ulrich and Korbinian show up. The Welser estate owners tell the detectives that Kathrin Stein has also been missing for some time. However, they have not filed a missing person's report because the girl is quite unreliable. When one of them mentions that the two missing girls are friends, it becomes clear that the disappearances are connected. A break-in at Bobby's café provides the investigators with a valuable clue. Miriam Stockl takes action again, too – she just can't stop investigating. On the Bertramsdorf estate, she makes a gruesome discovery: she finds the body of an old man in a freezer. This discovery puts Miriam's life in danger. Under extreme time pressure, the Rosenheim cops not only manage to save the life of their secretary, they also discover the connection between the missing girls and the dead man in the freezer.
