S1, E11: Tenement owner Ferdinand Mitterer loved candy and had a real sweet tooth. Unfortunately, the chocolate he indulged in one morning was poisoned. Satori and Hofer find out that Mitterer was apparently an unpleasant fellow who was hated by many. He snooped around secretly in his tenants' apartments and was also prone to violence, especially toward his wife Sissy, by whom he felt betrayed. The fact that Sissy really does have a secret lover, the dodgy investment swindler Fritz Sauer, does not escape the attention of the two investigators for long. However, other residents of the house also come into consideration as suspects, such as the roofer Michael Wendling and his girlfriend Martina, who have long been at odds with nosy Mitterer. It appears that only employee Erwin Volze got along with the murdered man. The cops' investigation focuses on the apartment building, and Korbinian even sniffs around in the dumpster for useful clues. Ulrich thinks that this is rubbish and refuses to give his filthy and smelly colleague a lift in the car afterwards. Once again, the mood between the two hits rock bottom. It only improves when Ulrich helps his colleague with a personal matter: Korbinian, who likes to drink wheat beer, has been sold adulterated red wine by Bobby, the landlord of the terrace café. Only gradually does it dawn on the two Rosenheim cops that Bobby's adulteration of wine, the results of the garbage analysis, and the giveaways of a beverage market, all have something to do with the Mitterer case.
