Part 1

S1, E1: When the mayor, Arne Seidel, invites the residents to a village meeting, many do not yet suspect what abysses will open up in the hitherto peaceful village life: A lucrative wind farm is to be built near Unterleuten, which Anne Pilz, representing the wind turbine company "Vento Direct," presents to the villagers at the meeting. While some of the residents decide to take up the fight against the construction of the wind farm, the owners of the land in question now begin to compete for the tender and the profitable lease. Friends become enemies, and vice versa.
