Mayor, Arne Seidel, tries to defuse the tense situation between the residents and mediates on all fronts. Meanwhile, the "Ökologica" suffers from strikes and sabotage. The South German investor, Meiler, and the managing director of the "Ökologica," Rudolf Gombrowski, vie for the land of the young entrepreneur, Linda Franzen, who has moved to Unterleuten and wants to profit from it.
