S3, E2: In a quiet meadow, hikers find the dead wife of the successful trainer Lukas Conradi. She died of heart failure, but the evidence seems to indicate that she was running from someone prior to her demise. The cops find out that Verena Conradi had started an affair with her family doctor and childhood friend Dr. Anton Probst some time ago. However, the wealthy woman wanted to end the affair, and to turn her back both on her husband and on Rosenheim. Was Dr. Probst unable to get over the shock of the impending separation? Or did Conradi, whose company is no longer as successful as he would have everyone believe, have his wife on his conscience? Finally, there is also a militant animal rights activist named Wilfried Moser, for whom Conradi's fur coat was a thorn in his side. Of all things, it's the content of an old clothes bag that helps the cops get on the right track.
