Colin Morgan

Colin Morgan is a Northern Irish film, television, theatre and radio actor best known for playing the title character in the BBC fantasy series Merlin and Leo Elster in the 2015 AMC/Channel 4 sci-fi series Humans. Morgan made his West End theatre debut in 2007 to critical acclaim as the title character in DBC Pierre's Vernon God Little. He went on to appear in the London theatre productions Pedro Almodóvar's Todo sobre mi madre in 2007, Thomas Babe's A Prayer for My Daughter in 2008, Pedro Miguel Rozo's Our Private Life in 2011, Step in Time at The Old Vic 24 Hour Musicals Celebrity Gala in 2012, Shakespeare's The Tempest in 2013, and Jez Butterworth's Mojo during 2013 and 2014. In addition to his lead role in the fantasy-adventure television programme Merlin, Morgan has appeared in The Catherine Tate Show, Doctor Who, Quirke, and The Fall. He stars in the eight-part sci-fi series Humans as the mysterious fugitive Leo Elster, and is currently filming BBC One's six-part Victorian era supernatural drama series The Living And The Dead as the gentleman farmer Nathan Appleby. Film roles include Parked, Island, Testament of Youth and Legend.
