Danny Murphy

An accomplished film actor, Danny Murphy brought laughter to countless audiences while playing various roles over the course of his Hollywood career. Murphy started his acting career landing roles in films, such as "Kingpin" (1996) and the Gwyneth Paltrow comedy "Shallow Hal" (2001). Murphy focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Fastlane" (Fox, 2002-03) and "Wanted (TNT)" (TNT, 2004-05). He also worked in film during these years, including a part on the comedy "Stuck on You" (2003) with Matt Damon. Murphy focused on film in more recent years, appearing in "Fever Pitch" (2005) with Drew Barrymore and "Hall Pass" (2011) with Owen Wilson. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "American Body Shop" (Comedy Central, 2006-07). Murphy last acted in the Jim Carrey comedy sequel "Dumb and Dumber To" (2014). Murphy passed away in August 2014 at the age of 59.
