David Sullivan

Born in Texas, David Sullivan was quick to the stage. He performed one-act plays at his high school, but pushed theater mostly aside for sports while he attended Baylor University, majoring in business, and kicking on the football team. He did still perform in the Baylor theater department, and, unsatisfied with his prospects after graduation, Sullivan decided to go on an audition. That audition was for Shane Carruth and his time-travel Sundance hit film, "Primer" (2004). Although the film wouldn't premiere until three years after he finished filming in 2001, Sullivan had caught the bug. He decided to give acting a try and moved to Los Angeles. He quickly landed supporting roles in TV series like "Joey" (NBC, 2004-06), and "Big Love" (HBO, 2006-2011), in addition to another Texas based indie, "The Astronaut Farmer" (2006). In 2012, Sullivan appeared in Ben Affleck's "Argo" (2012), which went on to win the Academy Award for Best Picture. He also appeared in the pilot episode of "The Fosters" (ABC Family, 2013-), and a supporting role in an episode of "New Girl" (Fox, 2011-). In 2015, Sullivan made his debut in the role of Detective Bukowski on the high profile new show "Wicked City" (ABC, 2015-), a police procedural set in early 1980s Los Angeles.
