Janet Wood

Janet Wood was an actress with a strong presence in film throughout her Hollywood career. Wood's acting career began mostly with her roles in various films, such as the action picture "Angels Hard As They Come" (1971) with Scott Glenn, "Terror House" (1972) with Linda Gillin and "Dragon Lady" (1975) with Tom Keena. She also appeared in the Robert McLane comedy "Up" (1976) and the Noelle North horror feature "Slumber Party '57" (1976). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1972-2015). She continued to act in productions like the comedy "Foul Play" (1978) with Goldie Hawn. She also starred in the TV movies "Katie: Portrait of a Centerfold" (NBC, 1978-79) and "Topper" (ABC, 1979-1980). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Reasonable Doubts" (NBC, 1991-93). She also was featured in the TV movies "Sakharov" (1983-84), "The Last Fling" (ABC, 1986-87) and "Childhood Sweetheart?" (CBS, 1996-97). Most recently, Wood acted on "Freakylinks" (Fox, 2000-01).
