Kerry O'Malley

Comfortable on stage as well as in front of a television or film camera, actress Kerry O'Malley brings a spirited quality to her performances in keeping with her vibrant red hair and green eyes. After training with the American Repertoire Institute at Harvard University, O'Malley furthered her education at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland. Starting out in the ensemble of the Broadway musical "Cyrano" in 1993, O'Malley moved off-Broadway to "Bright Lights, Big City." Between stage roles, O'Malley followed her older brother Mike into television, with guest appearances in "NYPD Blues" and "Brooklyn Smith" in 1997. The next year, O'Malley made her feature debut in "Rounders" before returning to Broadway for the successful revival of "Annie Get Your Gun." In between supporting her beloved Boston Red Sox, O'Malley continued guest-starring in high profile series including "Law and Order" and "Without a Trace" and also appeared with her brother on his short-lived "The Mike O'Malley Show." In 2002, O'Malley received critical acclaim for her role in the Stephen Sondheim musical "Into the Woods," receiving a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Feature Actress. O'Malley continued on and off Broadway with roles in "Finian's Rainbow" and as Anne Morrow Lindbergh in "Flight." Back on the small screen, O'Malley won a recurring part in the critically acclaimed series "Brotherhood," while continuing to make series numerous guest appearances on shows like "Cold Case" and "The Mentalist."
