Michael McDonald

Michael James McDonald is an American actor, director, writer, and comedian. He is best known for starring in the sketch comedy show MADtv. McDonald joined the show during the fourth season and remained in the cast until the end of the thirteenth and penultimate season, having become the longest-tenured cast member. While on the show, he developed many memorable characters. He was a contributing writer and director on MADtv.

As Thanksgiving nears, J.D. (Zach Braff) is stricken with appendicitis and gains a new and horrifying perspective on what it means to be a patient, and to make matters worse, it's Turk (Donald Faison) -- his old fraternity drinking partner -- who will be doing the surgery. Elsewhere, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) resents the fact that J.D.'s patients prefer his care to her cold hands when she has to cover his cases for him, and Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) makes sure that his former medical mentor (guest star Paul Collins) gets proper care from the nasty Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins). Judy Reyes also stars.

J.D. (Zach Braff) becomes scared that he is not masculine enough to set an example for his son, especially after Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) gives him a hard time about being a whiney man-child. Meanwhile, after a necessary surgery leaves him feeling less manly Turk (Donald Faison) is overcompensating his own masculinity by fighting anybody that tries to get the break room remote. Elsewhere, the Janitor (Neil Flynn) starts a hospital newspaper entitled, The Janitorial, as a result of Dr. Kelso (Ken Jenkins) telling the Janitor that no one pays attention to anything he says. His main article makes life a nightmare for Dr. Cox. Sarah Chalke and Judy Reyes also star.

My Finale, Pt. 2

On J.D.'s last day at Sacred Heart Hospital he finally settles his feud with the Janitor tricks Dr. Cox into admitting their friendship and forecasts a happily-ever-after for the whole gang.
