Rochelle hosts a neighborhood-watch meeting after someone steals Julius' truck, but her neighbor Louise (Whoopi Goldberg) thinks she would make a better block captain than Rochelle.

After Chris makes the neighborhood think he and Tasha are dating, Rochelle gets an earful from Tasha's grandmother (Whoopi Goldberg).

Chris realizes he needs to make the best campaign speech of all time in order to win the class presidential election.

Because the family is sick, Mr. Omar agrees to look after Chris, who takes advantage of the situation by spending time alone with Tasha.

Chris helps the football team with homework so he will be allowed to hang out with the cool kids; Julius starts a side job picking up bodies for Mr. Omar's funeral home.

When Julius and Rochelle decide to raise Mr. Omar's rent, Mr. Omar demands they bring the apartment up to code; Chris has to do a book report and decides to watch the movie version of the book rather than read it.
