Victor Izay

Character actor Victor Izay is best known for playing doctors on various TV shows and most famously in the "Billy Jack" series of action films. His early television work came courtesy of Westerns like "The Rebel" and "Rawhide." He starred in an exploitation film called "Dr. Sex" in 1964 and the obscure adult-themed titles "Acapulco Uncensored" and "Tropic of Scorpio" in 1968. After several more exploitation films he had his highest-profile role in the 1971 film "Billy Jack." Afterwards he appeared frequently in family-friendly TV shows like "Marcus Welby, M.D." and "The Waltons" often playing doctors, although he did continue to make appearances in sleazier fare like "The Single Girls," a 1974 adult-themed slasher film. He reprised his role as Doc in the sequel "The Trial of Billy Jack" and appeared in the 1977 effort "Billy Jack Goes to Washington." Typically, his career alternated between appearances in low-budget features like "Female Mercenaries" and TV programs like "Little House on the Prairie." He had a cameo in the 2006 Dane Cook comedy "Employee of the Month."
