Bluestone 42

It's Christmas in Afghanistan and Bluestone 42's new team member, Corporal Gordon ‘Towerblock’ House is thrown in at the deep end. A cocky lad from Leeds, he and Nick don't exactly hit it off, but they need to get on because the Taliban doesn't stop for Christmas. Bird is reeling from some unexpected news and the team plan a nativity play like no other.

Nick regrets showing off to his new number 2, Towerblock, whilst Simon and Bird come to blows over a special book belonging to the Lt Colonel.

A blast from the past knocks Nick off his game, while Bird tries to teach Mary a lesson that the padre is out of touch with the troops.

Nick and the Lt. Colonel find themselves in an unexpected battle of wills, whilst Rocket gets himself a pet rat, much to Bird's disgust.

The team gets a visit from a government minister, who Mary unexpectedly takes a shine to. Nick tries to get rid of him with a questionable plan involving high explosives.

Bird hatches a plan to stop Nick and Mary going on about each other once and for all, and the Lt. Colonel persuades Towerblock to pimp his ride.
