In this Saturday evening show, talents of all ages have the opportunity to perform their skills on a large stage and in front of a large audience. No matter if vocals, dance, acrobatics, comedy or something completely different - everything that can be shown on stage is possible. In several open castings throughout Germany it is determined who will take part in the program. In the first editions of each season, the candidates with their talent must convince first and foremost a prominent three-member jury. Each of the jurors has a buzzer with which he can give the candidate a negative voice. If all three buzzers sound during or after the performance, the candidate must leave the show. All the other talents come along and finally have the chance in the big live finale to face a telephone audience vote, in which the winner expects 100,000 euros - and possibly a great career.
