Steven Gätjen welcomes the celebrities who will spend six days in total darkness. The first is singer Pietro Lombardi, who immediately faces his first challenge.

While chaos breaks out in the dark flat share, actress Luna Schweiger and actor Gedeon Burkhard join the participants. Everything becomes a challenge in the dark, causing the first dinner and the first night to become a test of endurance.

An argument threatens to divide the group. Things get serious for four of the eight celebrities as they try to confront their fear of heights for a challenge.

As the experiment reaches its halfway point, tensions rise. An event surrounding Pietro Lombardi causes unrest, and he may have to end the experiment early. The first group challenge is a feat of strength for the nominees.

Gloria has an emotional breakdown as the experiment becomes too much for her. The celebrities barely have time to take a breath because the next challenge is just around the corner. They try to summon up all their courage to face it.

As they await the final challenge, everyone tries to rise above themselves, and panic breaks out. On their final evening in the experiment, the participants are rewarded with a party.
