Odd Mom Out

Jill's husband, Andy, learns that his baby brother Lex has just earned $600 million from a big overseas sale, diminishing Andy's news of making partner at his law firm. Jill starts to feel the pressure to get her twins into the "right" kindergarten. To make matters worse, Jill's sister-in-law, Brooke, pressures her into coming to her spinning class charity event at SoulWheelz benefitting N.A.C.H.O. (New Yorkers Against Childhood Obesity).

Candace, Brooke and Lex discover they are descended from a Prussian duke named Von Weber, and they want to change their surname; Brooke and Candace take Jill to an exclusive spa to show her the kind of perks that come with being a "Von."

Jill stresses out over where the twins will go to kindergarten when she realize she is the only one who hasn't heard back from any schools; Andy's mother wants the family to attend an interview for a prestigious cemetery with a long waiting list.

When Jill invites a new friend to a trendy Japanese restaurant, she is horrified to run into Brooke and Lex; Brooke forces everyone to try the 11-course tasting menu, which includes one long noodle, a leaf with salt and an empty egg shell.

Jill falls in love with the down-to-earth moms in attendance at a friend's backyard party in Brooklyn, then she realizes the grass may not always be greener on the other side.

Jill gets a frantic call from Brooke who is going into labor a day before her scheduled cesarean section; when the ambulance refuses to take Brooke to the upscale hospital of her choice, Jill must rely on her wits to deliver the baby.
