Paul Mirabel has just sold his stand-up show and a documentary about his life; but he's spent more time on video games than actually writing the show.

In search of new adventures, Paul reconnects with Livia, his childhood love; then he heads out with Dan for a night at a club where he meets Sandra, a professional dancer; thanks to her, he lands a spot in a rap music video, but things go horribly wrong.

Paul is released from police custody after being arrested on the set of Naza's music video; he uses this experience to find inspiration again. Just as he's getting closer to Livia, he discovers she's in a relationship. He then heads to Moselle with Dan to test out his new jokes and unwittingly ends up in the middle of a gathering of far-right activists. A video from the evening goes viral and sparks a massive backlash.

In the midst of controversy, Paul is tasked by Sylvain, Livia's fiancé, with keeping an eye on her during her bachelorette party in Ibiza, Spain.

Paul heads back to Montpellier with Dan for his mother's birthday and finds himself confronted with his past; Dan takes the opportunity to explore where Paul grew up and gather material for the documentary; amid reunions, a Gypsy wedding, and one blunder after another, Paul ends up hurting the people who matter most to him, including Livia.

With just a few hours to go before the premiere of his new show, Paul tries to make amends with those he's hurt; after attempting to reconcile with his brother, Dan, and Livia, he finds an unexpected way to show them how much they mean to him, but just when everything seems to be finally falling into place, a message from Sandra turns it all upside down.
