Li Xia (Zheng Shuang), who grew up in poverty, overcomes hardship through determination and earns a scholarship to a prestigious high school. There, she becomes close friends with Fu Xiao Si (Cheney Chen) and Lu Zhi Ang (Bai Jing Ting), two popular students. After graduation, the trio pursues their individual dreams, only to discover that adult life is far more challenging than they anticipated.
