Liza's book comes out in paperback, with a hot, sexy photo of Liza on the cover. It seems that the body of the girl on the cover is not that of Liza, and that the publisher put Liza's head on the body of someone else. But now everyone wants to meet the sexy, glamorous Liza, and she even gets talked into a blind date with a friend of the publisher.

This was the first episode of the series. In this episode a pushy promoter named George Howell wants Liza to go on a speaking tour to promote her book, but Liza is convinced that she is too shy to speak in front of large audiences.

The school is having a white elephant sale, and the girls seem enthralled with one of the other mothers at the school. Also, Liza is scheduled to speak to a prestigious writers group at Columbia University. But none of Liza's activities are as exciting as the other mother, and Liza is worried that she has lost the love and respect of her daughters, and must do something about it.
