In 2008, Operation Rectangle uncovers horrific abuse at Jersey's Haut de la Garenne orphanage. With a minister's help, the scandal goes public and becomes international. A child's skull found in hidden caves deepens the case, threatening the island's powerful - yet "Jersey’s system" still fights to survive.
