Mountain Madness
Inspired by the 1957 original, Fools in the Mountains brings the story to the modern Norwegian mountains with a wry take on Easter traditions old and new. When the young, eager-to-please hotel receptionist Poppe is unexpectedly left in charge during the busy Easter week, chaos soon follows. Demanding ski guests, irritated cabin neighbors, hapless Danes, party-loving youths, and disgruntled staff collide in a holiday packed with strange stories, conflicts, and surprises. Things only get harder when Poppe has to organize a children’s ski race, a huge après-ski party, and a respectful celebration of Easter’s true meaning—all at the same time. Some flashing lights sequences or patterns may affect photosensitive viewers.
