She's the One
Wacky de los Reyes (Dingdong Dantes) is a charming host of a morning TV show. At 30 years old, he cruises through life and does not take things seriously. A certified player, he is dubbed as “Tarzan” by his friends as he keeps swinging from one woman to another. The only constant woman in Wacky’s life is his best friend, Cat (Bea Alonzo), but he never pursued her romantically. Cat Aguinaldo is a responsible woman who lives a busy life caring for the people she loves: her siblings, her grandparents, and her friends. Her best friend of 12 years, Wacky, occupies a special place in Cat’s heart and she never fails to be there for him. Most of their friends consider her as Wacky’s pseudo girlfriend and unbeknownst to Wacky, Cat harbors romantic feelings for him. When Wacky’s stint in his morning show is threatened, he takes advantage of David Esguerra’s (Enrique Gil) viral online search for his dream girl to boost the show’s ratings and help him retain his job. Wacky offers to help David find the girl through the show. Much to his surprise, David’s dream girl turns out to be Cat. Wacky, despite Cat’s reluctance, asks her to meet and date David. As Cat starts to date and get to know David, Wacky becomes insecure and feels that he is losing the one woman he is always been afraid to want—his best friend.
