Behind the backdrop of palaces, churches and canals exists a thus far uncharted universe inhabited by an extraordinary menagerie of creatures. They are omnipresent but scarcely noticed. They live in the middle of the city, are submerged within its depths, and look down at it from the sky above the extraordinary wildlife of this great city.
