Adjoa Andoh

Adjoa Aiboom Helen Andoh is an English actress and theatre director. She began her career in theatre and first gained prominence through her roles in the BBC soap operas EastEnders and Casualty, followed by Doctor Who. More recently, she starred in the Netflix period drama Bridgerton. Her films include Invictus. In July 2022, Andoh became an honorary fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, and in June 2025 was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire.
