Ben Slack

Despite never winning an award or becoming a leading man in Hollywood, actor Ben Slack was able to build a career that lasted for nearly 30 years, and included appearances on some of television's most popular shows. Slack broke into acting via an uncredited role in the classic 1973 Al Pacino film, "Serpico." Throughout the years, Slack would appear on such renowned television programs as "Kojak," "Barney Miller," "All in the Family," "St. Elsewhere," "T.J. Hooker," "Three's Company," "Happy Days," "The A-Team," "Night Court," "NYPD Blue," and even the short-lived "Cop Rock." But all of these appearances turned out to be one-offs, which kept Slack from establishing himself beyond just a bit player. Additionally, he would land small roles in countless movies over the years, including "Times Square," "Bachelor Party," "S.F.W.," and "Shooting LA"
