Francia Raisa

Teen-movie and TV star Francia Raisa is of Mexican and Honduran descent but was born in Southern California where her family worked in Spanish-language radio. Raisa--whose father is veteran radio personality "El Cucuy"--always enjoyed dancing in many styles, including jazz, tap, and hip-hop. She started dancing at the age of 5 and was able to channel this passion into one of her earliest roles, playing a cheerleader in the "Bring It On" franchise. After finishing high school, the stunning Raisa began to book modeling and commercial work, but she swiftly launched her acting career at the age of 17 when she appeared in an episode of the Iraq war drama "Over There." Soon she landed the part of Leti in the direct-to-DVD sequel "Bring It On: All or Nothing," which helped her career pick up steam. In 2008, she landed a part in "The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream" and simultaneously won the role of Adrian Lee in the hit series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." Since winning that part, she found plenty of time for work in a wide variety of work like the gritty human trafficking thriller "Bulletface" and the hit witness relocation TV drama "In Plain Sight."
