John Lafayette

John LaFayette was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. LaFayette's earliest roles were in film, including the drama "Good Luck, Miss Wyckoff" (1979) with Anne Heywood, "Neon Maniacs" (1986) and the Lorraine Gary adventure sequel "Jaws: The Revenge" (1987). He also appeared in "Eddie Murphy Raw" (1987), "Deadly Weapon" (1988) with Rodney Eastman and "The Terror Within" (1989) with George Kennedy. In the nineties, LaFayette devoted his time to various credits, such as "Bopha!" with Danny Glover (1993), "Greedy" (1994) starring Michael J. Fox and "Monkey Trouble" with Harvey Keitel (1994). He also worked on "The Inkwell" (1994) starring Larenz Tate. LaFayette continued to exercise his talent in the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Johnson Family Vacation" (2004) starring Cedric The Entertainer, "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!" with Kate Bosworth (2004) and "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" (2005). His credits also expanded to "The Perfect Man" (2005) and "Madea's Family Reunion" (2006) starring Tyler Perry. Most recently, LaFayette acted on "The Following" (Fox, 2012-15).
