Katherine Parkinson was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In 2009, she appeared in "The Boat That Rocked" with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Parkinson began her acting career with roles in the series "Extras" (HBO, 2005-07) and "The IT Crowd" (IFC, 2008-2010). Parkinson started in the industry by acting in films like "How to Lose Friends & Alienate People" (2008) with Kirsten Dunst. Following that project, she acted on the silver screen, including roles in the romantic comedy "Easy Virtue" (2009) with Jessica Biel and the comedy "Pirate Radio" (2009) with Philip Seymour Hoffman. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Inside No. 9" (BBC 2, 2014-). She also lent her voice to "Cooked" (2010). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "The Honorable Woman" (2014). Most recently, Parkinson acted on "Urban Myths" (Sky Arts, 2016-). Parkinson was married to Harry Peacock.
