In 1974, ambitious British politician John Stonehouse hatches an outlandish plan to disappear.

When John Stonehouse - who is now hiding out in Melbourne - draws suspicion from the local police, Barbara and Sheila fly to Australia to confront him.

With Harold Wilson's fate still up in the air and Barbara wondering if it's worth saving her marriage, John Stonehouse and Sheila go on trial to face the consequences of their actions.
