Charlotte Le Bon

Illustrator, model, weather girl and actress, Charlotte Le Bon was all of these and more. The daughter of two French-Canadian actors, Le Bon grew up loving to draw, and worked as an illustrator and model in her native Quebec during her teens and early 20s. Le Bon's illustrations sparked the curiosity of France's Canal+ television, but when the station requested to see her portfolio, they found themselves far more interested in the beauty that had done the illustrations, and hired the irrepressibly funny Canadian as the weather girl for their morning newscast. Soon other opportunities came, such as the role of Ophelia in the film adaptation of the iconic European cartoon Asterix and Obelix, "Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia" (2012). This was followed by the French romantic comedy "Blue Indigo" (2013), as well as her role as artistic muse Victoire Doutreleau in the fashion biopic "Yves St. Laurent" (2014). After Steven Spielberg saw Le Bon on television while in France, Le Bon was cast in Lasse Hallström's restaurant-themed comedy-drama "The Hundred Foot Journey" (2014), with Helen Mirren and Manish Dayal.
