Aake Kalliala

Aake Kalliala was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kalliala's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Huomenna" (1986) with Jukka Puotila, "Hamlet Liikemaailmassa" (1987) with Pirkka-Pekka Petelius and the Hannu Lauri thriller "Jaahyvaiset Presidentille" (1987). He also appeared in "Rampi & Naukkis" (1990). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in "Who Is Joe Louis?" (1992), the mystery "Kaikki Pelissa" (1994) with Hannele Lauri and the drama "Emmauksen Tiella" (2002) with Puntti Valtonen. In his more recent career, he continued to act in the foreign "Kummelin Jackpot" (2006) with Heikki Silvennoinen, the Kai Lehtinen dramatic adaptation "Havukka-ahon ajattelija" (2009) and the action comedy "Ralliraita" (2009) with Heikki Silvennoinen. Kalliala most recently acted in "Life For Sale" (2011) with Samuli Edelmann.
