Viewers will be guided by archaeologist Fabio Amador as he uses modern techniques to bring to life ancient civilizations, as well as the mysteries that surround their existence. In this installment, our team will unearth the Maya civilization’s most sacred rituals and the sites where they conducted them, including a chamber where human sacrifices were carried out.

This one-hour special focuses on Teotihuacan, Mexico’s most iconic archeological site and one of the largest pre-Hispanic cities. With the help of the cutting-edge technology, audiences will see Teotihuacan like never before, as archaeologists explore its recently discovered tunnels and fly over the city for a first-ever aerial scan.
