Daisuke Higashida is a high school student looking for a part-time job due to financial difficulties at home. He starts working at a family restaurant called Wagnaria.

As an obligation to Miyakoshi for the chocolate, Daisuke is forced to help her study. Meanwhile, the diner gets a new staff member in the form of an English-speaking transfer student.
