John Baer

John Baer worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Baer started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Superman and the Mole Men" (1951), "About Face" (1952) and the western "The Battle at Apache Pass" (1952) with John Lund. He also appeared in the Tyrone Power drama "The Mississippi Gambler" (1953), the Randolph Scott adaptation "Riding Shotgun" (1954) and the Humphrey Bogart comedy "We're No Angels" (1955). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the fifties and the sixties, appearing in "Guns, Girls and Gangsters" (1958), the action picture "Tarawa Beachead" (1958) with Kerwin Mathews and the Michael Emmet horror flick "Night of the Blood Beast" (1958). He also appeared in "The Chapman Report" (1962) with Efrem Zimbalist Jr. Baer had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s and the 2010s, including "Kate & Leopold" (2001), "Noise" (2008) and "Law Abiding Citizen" (2009). His credits also expanded to "The Answer Man" (2009) starring Jeff Daniels and "Limitless" (2011) starring Bradley Cooper. Baer most recently worked on "The Visit" (2015).
