An illuminating first Flash Challenge puts the new teams to the test; in the Elimination Tattoo, a seemingly straightforward Subject forces some of the Artists out of their comfort zone; the battle heats up for the title of Ink Master.

The Artists must use their creativity to transform an ordinary object into an intricate sculpture in the Flash Challenge; the Artists show their true colors with hybrid beast Elimination Tattoos.

With only eight Artists left, an unexpected team shuffle transforms the competition; transforming tattoos are judged blind as the battle continues for $250,000 and the title of Ink Master.
