T. V. Carpio

Multi-talented diva T.V. Carpio sings, acts, and even ice-skates. She made her debut in 2002 on the twelfth season finale of the Jerry Orbach-led legal procedural, "Law & Order" as a cleaning lady. Her first big screen role came two years later in 2004, playing a supporting character in Spike Lee's fertile foster-parent comedy, "She Hate Me." Lee and Carpio collaborated on the San Francisco-set race relations drama "Sucker Free City" that same year, which cast Carpio as daughter to a prominent member of the Chinese mafia (Ken Leung). In 2007, Carpio put her vocal talent to the test as Prudence in the Beatles-inspired musical drama "Across the Universe." She performed Fab Four favorites like "Because," "I Want to Hold Your Hand," and the film's title song. Sci-fi thriller "Limitless" afforded Carpio the opportunity to work alongside Hollywood heavyweights Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro in a twisted tale about miracle drugs gone haywire. In 2011, Caprio landed a two-episode stint on ABC's "Body of Proof" as Jinx, a young woman sought for questioning following a teen's suspicious OD. Showcasing her stellar voice, Carpio also appeared as a featured singer in the multimillion-dollar web slinging Broadway musical, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark."
