Hakuoki

A woman, disguised as a man, comes to Kyoto in search of her father; ronin chase after her before they are attacked by demons.

Chizuru starts to work her way into the Shinsengumi's society, motivated by the desire to be useful and her concern over the injured Sannan.

Under orders from Sannan Keisuke, Chizuru races to deliver a message to Hijikata and his men; Kondo's squad charges into Ikedaya where Imperial Loyalists, including ronin from Choshu, are holding a meeting.

A mysterious stranger arrives and announces an upcoming storm; many confrontations arise as they race to Mt. Tennozan.

Itou Kashitarou allies with the corps as an advisor, but not all the soldiers are happy with his presence; the Shinsengumi plan to move to a larger headquarters; Sannan continues research on a potion, but with dangerously detrimental side effects.

Sannan takes the potion he created, but begins to lose self control; the Shinsegumi wait to see if he recovers and work to keep Itou from noticing; Saito informs Chizuru that her father had been working on the potion.
