Peregrina

Peregrina, a young dancer, is part of the Baltazar Circus, a traveling circus that reaches the coast. Rodolfo, a rich young man, goes to the circus to meet Peregrina, both of them are struck without imagining that a secret from the past unites them.

Out of spite, Ivan does not hold Peregrina while they perform acrobatics. Sabina fears that the secret about Peregrina's origin will be revealed during her stay on the coast. Rodolfo gives Peregrina a doll and they spend time together.

Victoria fears that Peregrina is Eliseo's granddaughter and sends Melquiades to investigate. Peregrina explains to Rodolfo the engagement that ties her to Ivan. Algeria continues to plot against Peregrina to get Ivan to notice her.

Ivan gets tired of Peregrina not allowing him to kiss her and reminds her that she promised to marry him. Peregrina meets Anibal thinking that it is Rodolfo. Victoria visits Sabina to find out the whereabouts of Eliseo's granddaughter.

Sabina makes Victoria believe that Eliseo's granddaughter is dead and thus protect Peregrina. Abigail suspects that Victoria and Melquiades have a secret. Peregrina finds Rodolfo on the beach while Ivan looks for her at the circus.

Rodolfo gives Peregrina his first kiss. Sabina confesses the truth about the origin of Peregrina. Anibal finds Peregrina's amulet on the beach, without knowing that she was with her brother the night before.
